There are countless great beaches nearby. The nearest beach is located in the center of Moscenicka Draga. Perfect choice with children (3.5 km from the house, 7-8 minutes by car). Stopping along the coastal road, pathways leading to secluded beaches can be found almost everywhere. Medveja and Lovran offer a wide variety of beaches, including rocky and pebbled parts and ones with shallow water alike. The beaches of Icici and Opatija are also great for children and adults alike (all of them are 10-20 minutes away by car from the house).

Lungomare Promenade, 12 km long wonderful coastal promenade, one of the most beautiful coastal areas in Europe. It leads from Lovran to Voloskó, and can be reached anywhere between the two settlements (Lovran 10 km, 15 minutes by car).
The city center of Opatija is a famous aristocratic seaside resort from the time of the Monarchy (17 km, 30 minutes by car).
Ucka (Monte Maggiore), 1396 m high mountain, with a lookout point, wonderful, longer and shorter, easier and truly challenging routes. From us, as the crow flies, approx. 5 km (28 km, 15 minutes by car ).
Hum, the smallest city in the world ( 43 km, 1 hour drive).
Motovun, a beautiful mountain town in the middle of Istria ( 71 km , about 1.5 hour).
Cres Island, which can be reached by ferry (about 1.5 hour, including the ferry ride).
Trieste (89 km, 1 hour 45 minutes by car).
Platak ski center and excursion area. No matter how surprising, there is an extremely good ski resort very close to us (65 km from the house, one hour and 20 minutes by car). In the other seasons, the area offers many beautiful hiking opportunities.
